Nikki Meyer built her first brokerage from the ground up — as a young mom, with more determination than resources. Originally from Wyoming, she knows firsthand what it means to relocate and start over in a new state, having made Texas her home more than 28 years ago. In 2011, she founded Equity Assets Realty in the Rio Grande Valley, growing it over the next decade into one of the region's most respected firms, with more than 2,049 transactions and a team of 22 agents and brokers under her leadership. In 2021, she sold the brokerage to move closer to family in the San Antonio/Boerne area — though she never really left the Valley behind, and remains active there today.
Along the way, Nikki became known for more than just closings. Her 20-plus years advising investors, developers, banks, and residential buyers throughout Central and South Texas gave her a rare depth of experience — from complex asset management for financial institutions to navigating zoning, title issues, and everything in between. But ask her what she's proudest of, and she'll tell you it's the agents she's mentored along the way. Building and developing a high-performing team has always mattered to her as much as the deals themselves.
That passion for mentoring is a big part of why she started Sage Creek Realty. After years in the business, launching a new brokerage in the Hill Country has reenergized her — a chance to build something fresh, on her own terms, and to keep doing what she loves most: helping agents grow into the best version of their careers, while helping families find their place in a part of Texas she's come to call home.
Nikki is very creative in putting a deal together. We worked with Nikki on the purchase of a foreclosed property. She did an outstanding job guiding us through the entire process. Her communication skills are excellent. She always keeps you informed. She went above the call of duty to ensure that the transaction was smooth and closed. I would highly recommend her.
